Manila, Philippines, August 11, 2009 – PLDT Corporate Business Group headed by PLDT Corporate Regional Business Head Conrado Reyes and PLDT Relationship Manager Danilo Dungka (first row, 7th and 1st from left to right respectively) welcomed the officers and members of the Federation of International Cable TV Association of the Philippines, Inc. (FICAP) at the Manila Innolab. The familiarization tour of the PLDT Innolab facilities aims to better equip them of PLDT's technological advancements through a showcase of Corporate Business Solutions products and services.

PLDT Innolab became host to the 1st Smart Mobile Developer Competition featuring Android held from September 22, 2009 to October 8, 2009 where various mobile application developers, professionals and students alike, were invited to build and test their apps at Innolab.
Android is an operating system for mobile devices running on the Linux Kernel originally developed by Google. The Open Handset Alliance, a consortium of various hardware, software and telecom companies, then acquired Android in 2007 and since then, pushed for advancing open standards for mobile devices.
